Medicinal Soup: Tofu & Fish Soup with Cilantro
Ingredients
* 1 lb pound of white fish, cut into three large pieces
* 1/2 pound of tofu – julienned
* 1 tbsp of canola oil
* 2 slices ginger
* 1/2 pound of cilantro, washed and cut
* 1/4 cup rice wine
* 5 sliced mushrooms
* 5-6 cups of boiling water
* Salt and white pepper to taste
Heat the oil in pan, and fry ginger until golden brown.
Add in the fish, and cook for 10 minutes on high until golden brown on both sides.
Add rice wine and boiling water, cook for 30 minutes until it becomes creamy.
Add tofu, mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
At the end, add cilantro and serve.
