Black Sesame, Walnut &            Rice Cream

Ingredients

* 1 cup walnuts
* 1/2 cup black sesame seeds
* 1/2 cup white rice – soaked overnight in water
* 3 tbsp. of rock sugar to taste
* 4 cups of water

 

 

 

 

 

Wash sesame seeds and walnut. Drain.

 

 

 

Toast walnuts and sesame seeds in frying pan over medium heat for 15-20 minutes until fragrance is released.

 

 

 

 

Blend ingredients in a blender with 2 cups of water for 3-5 minutes until creamy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Strain mixture through a fine sieve. Blend the contents of the sieve a second time with another 2 cups of water.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cook all together with sugar on low heat, stirring continually until the mixture bubbles and thickens for about 10 minutes.
